SUMMARY:

Projectile Motion is considered a difficult subject due to its mathematical treatment, involving trigonometric relations and functions. In order to facilitate the teaching-learning process, a didactic sequence was developed based on Jean Piaget and Lev Vygotsky, as well as practices used in Project-Based Learning, Inquiry-Based Teaching and Gamification. The project, implemented in 9th grade, had five stages involving debates, experiments and the reading and discussion of a hypertext, a digital material developed as an educational product. Throughout the sequence, the students were engaged, demonstrating interest in scientific investigation. The experience highlighted that active methodologies can make Physics teaching more contextualized, meaningful, and motivating for students.
