The process of constructing the Political-Pedagogical Project (PPP) is a crucial space for dialogue, involving the participation of members of the school community in the discussion of ideas, the identification of challenges, and the proposal of solutions. This study aims to analyze the contribution of the Political-Pedagogical Project, as a pedagogical and strategic instrument, to the practice of democratic management in Early Childhood Education within the Municipal Network of Recife. The research will focus on the Municipal Centers for Early Childhood Education (CMEIs) and Early Childhood Education Nurseries in the municipality of Recife. The work is structured into four chapters: The Organization of Early Childhood Education in Recife and the fulfillment of children's rights; The PPP in Early Childhood Education; The PPP in Early Childhood Education within the Municipal Network of Recife: effects of participatory construction; and Experiences and practices of the PPP in Early Childhood Education within the Municipal Network of Recife. Methodological procedures include bibliographic and documentary research. In the empirical research, there will be two phases. Initially, with managers of educational units with Early Childhood Education in the municipality of Recife, and subsequently, through the selection of two educational units, in addition to managers, teaching staff, employees, students, and members of the school community will participate in the research. Participant selection was based on the research objectives and the availability of relevant data. Data collection will involve the use of questionnaires, semi-structured interviews, and focus group discussions. Content analysis technique will be used for data analysis.
