THE REORGANIZATION OF THE TEACHING WORK OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHERS IN THE CONTEXT OF THE REFORM OF STATE HIGH SCHOOL IN PERNAMBUCO
Physical Education. High School. Teaching work. Acting.
Physical Education is a curricular component that ensures that students will be aware of the body culture that has been historically constructed throughout history, as historical social beings, they have the right to access this cultural heritage. However, with the reform of secondary education, Law 13.415/17, physical education underwent major changes and as a consequence the teaching work of teachers in this curricular component was modified, compromising the integral education of young Brazilians. After pressure from the school community, the new secondary education system underwent a transition to the “New Secondary Education Policy”, enacted by law 14.945/24, and new changes were imposed. For this purpose, the objective of this research project is to analyze the acting of physical education teachers in the transition process from NEM to the New Secondary Education Policy, sanctioned by law 14.945/24. To this end, we will analyze existing productions on the subject, official documents, as well as field research in reference secondary schools in Paudalho, a municipality in Pernambuco. The data analysis will be textual and discursive (ATD) because, as a methodology for analyzing qualitative research, it provides support for understanding the data obtained.
