COUNTERCOLONIAL INDOFUTURISM: An Ethnographic Study of the Producer’s Training Processes Aió Conexões in front of the Pankararu Music Exhibition
Pankararu Indigenous People; Music Show; Educational and Identity Processes.
The current research project seeks to dialogue ethnographically with the training processes promoted by the indigenous producer Aió Conexões in relation to the organization of: “Mostra Pankararu de Música”, which takes place annually in Aldeia Bem Querer de Cima, in the Pankararu Indigenous Territory in the city of Jatobá (PE ). On this opportunity, we intend to describe and interpret the educational and cultural crossings inherent to the organization of the event, from its curation to its execution, taking into account its relevance as an instrument of resistance and countercolonial practice (SANTOS, 2023). In this sense, we seek to weave dialogues with the concept of critical transculturalism (SANTANA, 2005) and its epistemological layers regarding the expression of the human condition and even indofuturism (PAIVA, 2021), analyzing how technologies become important tools for the dissemination of identity and formative processes of Indigenous Peoples.
