CONCEPTIONS ABOUT EDUCATIONAL SPACES: A POST-OCCUPATION ANALYSIS OF TEACHERS AND FAMILIES OF A PROINFANCE UNIT
This study will focus on the analysis of the conceptions of teachers, family members and the child about the quality of spaces in Early Childhood Education, in a Proinfância unit in the Municipal Network of Recife. The theoretical-methodological perspective of the research that will be used is the one proposed by Stephen Ball and collaborators, with the objective of understanding the meanings attributed by teachers in the preparation/organization of the educational space, identifying possible irregularities, regularities and observations about the building and environments of the Proinfância present in the testimonies from the confrontation of the participants' speeches, to investigate the elements that constitute the teachers' conceptions about education, children and childhood, which result from the problematizations of the context of practice. This is a qualitative research that will use document analysis, the data production instruments to be used will be multiple, three of which are specific to the Post-Occupancy Assessment (APO), Walkthrough, Focus Group, Poem of Desires. The analysis of the records will be done using the technique of content analysis. It is hoped that the results of the study will contribute to reflection and investments in Early Childhood Education policies, with spaces of quality and respect for children.
