The policy of reserve vacancies in universities and federal institutes of technical education of high school, instituted by Law No. 12.771/2012, was a milestone in the historical struggle of social movements of blacks and blacks that seek to overcome the structural racism of society. Starting from a survey of theoretical subsidies, which address the issue of racism that engendered Brazilian society and the struggles of movements, this work aims to analyze the contribution of the Reservation Policy of vacancies on the academic and professional trajectory of black students, formed and evaded from the integrated technical courses of IFPE, Campus Recife, in access, permanence and completion of the course and insertion in the labor market. The research will be qualitative, using the documentary and bibliographic survey and empirical research, through semi-structured interviews with students who have completed or evaded the courses. Authors such as Kabengele Munanga (2001, 2004 and 2019), Valter Silvério (2005 and 2013), Oracy Nogueira (2007), Silvio Almeida (2019), Mário Theodoro (2008), Mário Theodoro and Luciana Jaccoud (2005), Dermeval Saviani (2007), Gaudêncio Frigotto (2012), Acacia Kuenzer (2013) and Eliezer Pacheco (2012) will give reasons for the analysis of the content of the information. It is expected with this research to provide support for the analysis and improvement of this policy and identification of possible difficulties in accessing the world of work and continuity of the academic life of black and black students.
