Babies have been the center of investigations by several scholars who seek to understand the processes of development and construction of identity and subjectivity of babies, their forms of interaction and language and their learning processes, among other topics that show the skills and abilities of babies and its condition as an active subject and producer of cultures. In this sense, the research project has as its central objective to investigate the processes of subjectivation and construction of meanings of babies in the daily life of the day care center, in the post-social isolation pandemic context. As this is a qualitative research with babies, video recordings and notes in the field notebook will be used, based on participant observation. The realization of this research is of great relevance both in the theoretical field and for the improvement of the pedagogical practices of educators in Early Childhood Education, as it contributes to deepening knowledge about babies, children's cultures and the social relationships built. In addition, because it is a research that is woven in a pandemic context, its relevance is important, since academic contributions that look at the impacts on the lives of babies and children can contribute to the work of education professionals. in order to mitigate and/or overcome the effects caused by COVID-19 in the scope of Early Childhood Education.
