SUMMARY:

The present research project intends to carry out a study on the practice of Mindfulness in the socio- emotional education of adolescents. Therefore, from the analysis of the aspects that interconnect positive psychology, transdisciplinarity and the practice of Mindfulness , as well as the analysis of adolescence and the processes of socio- emotional education mediated by the practice of Mindfulness , it intends to verify if this practice can be understood as the included third, the T term of transdisciplinarity . The general objective of this project will be to understand, from a perspective of positive psychology and transdisciplinarity , how the practice of Mindfulness can contribute to the processes of socio- emotional education of adolescents. And it has the following specific objectives: to analyze the interrelationship between Mindfulness , positive psychology and transdisciplinarity ; and to interrelate the practice of Mindfulness with the processes of socio- emotional education of adolescents related to self-care, self-knowledge, dialogicity , love and coexistence. In the first part of this work, the concepts and types of Mindfulness protocols are explored , based on the assumption that Positive Psychology considers this practice as a strategy to work on well-being. In the sequence, the concepts of positive psychology are also studied, seeking to understand on which epistemology bases its practice. To then establish an interrelation between Mindfulness attitudes and the Transdisciplinarity Charter . The second part addresses the issue of adolescence, presenting a study about its concept, limits and possibilities. There is also a reflection on adolescence, transdisciplinarity and emerging emotions at this time of life. In order, then, to move towards an analysis between the practice of Mindfulness and the emotional processes of adolescence, highlighting possibilities of dealing with the emotional suffering of adolescents, from a transdisciplinary perspective of human development in their humanization process. With this, this project intends to present the contributions of the practice of Mindfulness in the socio- emotional education of adolescents as a transdisciplinary methodological strategy. The methodology: the approach will be qualitative, using the participant observation method, exploratory observation techniques, semi-structured interviews and Mindfulness sessions , and data analysis will be interpretive.
