MIRROR, MIRROR MY, TELL ME WHO I AM: THE IMPORTANCE OF CARING AND EDUCATING FOR SOCIO-EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN EARLY CHILDHOOD
It is understood that the baby, being immature physically and psychically in the first years of his life, needs an adult who detains him, in addition to basic care to maintaining body health, the emotional investment capable of helping him to develop subjective skills necessary to maintain relationships with himself and with the world. In this sense, understanding that the family and/or caregivers play the fundamental role of development support, through the subjective approach of affection, the research presented, based on the conceptions of socioemotional learning, aims to build a material of guidance and support to families, in order to contribute to the process of promoting socio-emotional skills of children in early childhood. And, for the development of the proposed study, regarding the method, it is proposed the use of semi-structured interview and subsequent conduct of a focus group in order to access parents/caregivers, analyzing the material found through content analysis, based on the theoretical-methodological perspective of the Signification Network (RedSig).
