The relationship between education and gender present in Basic Education, in general, has been one of the outstanding debates at the national level in the last decade. In a process of narrative disputes, radicalization of policies aimed at the inclusion of social segments historically marginalized and excluded from public education systems in the country, and due to the struggle and recognition of gender studies aimed at basic education, there were significant losses in advancing a project of a more inclusive, dialogic and humanized education. Currently, the debate is polarized with manifestations of conservative segments and their ideological banners, critical of the inclusive education model aimed at the so-called social and underrepresented minorities.
