The main objective of this research is to investigate the use of Green IT in pedagogical practices in
undergraduate courses of the Distance Education and Technology Academic Unit
(UAEADTec) of UFRPE, and as specific objectives to analyze the Pedagogical Projects of
Courses (PPCs) regarding the use of Green IT in curricular matrices and methodologies, evaluate
the knowledge and use of Green IT in pedagogical practices by coordinators and teachers
of the courses, in addition to proposing the implementation of a didactic guide for teaching Green IT for
UAEADTec undergraduate courses at UFRPE. The methodology used in this study was
descriptive and exploratory character, with a predominantly qualitative approach. The collection of
data will be collected through a semi-structured questionnaire and through an online form
created on the Google platform. Data analysis will be carried out using the
Bardin, who works on content analysis. This work will seek to map the existence of actions
sustainable within the coordination of courses and Academic Units, understand the
perspective of UAEADTec coordinators and teachers on the topic, propose the adoption of
practices concerning Green IT in the curricular matrices and present the benefits brought
for this environmentally correct stance.
