The use of communication Technologies aimed at education for disaster risk Reduction (ERRD) and environmetal education (EA) aims to disseminate actions focused on guiding the population on how to leam to prevent risks and disasters with a view to perception risk management and building community resilience. From this perspective, this work aims to analyze to what extent information and communication Technologies (ICTs) are being used in the Civil Defense and Protection Centers (NUPDECs) as ERRD instruments in a public school, located in the Municipality of Jaboatão dos Guararapes, PE – Brazil. In this way, as a research, the question is: What is the importance of using Technologies as a teachinglearming instrument in relation to the ERRD theme in formal education? In this sense, a sampling will be carried out with students fron a reference high school, located in na área at risk of landslides, as an investigation space for this research. The methodology developed in this work, proposes a qualitative and quantitative analysis in consonance with the researchaction, referenced in authors (as) of EA, ERRD and TICs. As preliminary results, it was possible to assess that the use of ICTs, provides greater interaction with the theme of EA and ERRD, as well as the use of technological resources for the construction of the pedagogical process in a participatory way, strengthens the construction of knowledge in relation to change of behaviors and habits in the face of disasters
