Education in the 21st century finds itself in a new social context. challenges linked to a colonial perspective of knowledge. of knowledge. Therefore, the teaching of history has been one of its major targets within the educational field, especially with regard to gender and anti-racist studies, which makes us think about the need for new approaches to the new approaches to the teaching of history linked to a decolonial perspective, bearing in mind that the history told today continues to devalue narratives considered to be subaltern and to exalt the knowledge of the global North. exalting the knowledge of the global north.
