AMONG STORIES, COLLECTIONS AND MEMORIES: SOCIAL MEMORY TECHNOLOGY IN LOCAL HISTORY TEACHING

The dissertation under construction deals with the possibilities of using Social Technology Memory – understood as a methodology of the Museum of the Person for construction of Social Memory projects – in teaching and research activities in History Local, from the application of this in collaboration with students from the School of Reference in Secondary Education (EREM) Monsenhor João Marques, municipality ofSaloá-PE. The results achieved allow us to discuss what has been debated within Local History studies, covering issues of History Oral, Digital Public History and the challenges facing historiography of the 21st century. In addition to the results at an educational level, carrying out the project enabled the digitization of dozens of sources from personal collections and testimonies of Oral History, which will be and are already being socialized with the community.
