The period at the height of industrialization in Brazil reverberated in economic growth for the country, in addition to bringing new configurations focused on social and cultural relations in the places where industries were installed. The main objective of this research is to reflect on the listing of two landmarks of Pernambuco's industrial heritage, Companhia de Tecidos Paulista and Fábrica Tacaruna, highlighting the importance of this category of heritage and how in Brazil the remains of these workplaces are preserved. Industrial heritage has its peculiarities, in this sense, reiterating the dynamism, complexity and importance of this heritage makes it possible to understand that its value goes beyond its extrinsic characteristics, it is based on its tangible and intangible specificities. Concepts such as cultural and industrial heritage and memory will be highlighted in the research writing. To this end, the heritage maps of Niznhy Tagil, Venice and Burra, the listing processes of the two factories, as well as texts that deal with the key concepts of the research, will be analyzed.
