Selandriinae, Taxonomy, Solitary wasp, Herbivorous wasps, Sawfly
Plaumanniana Malaise, 1942 is a Neotropical genus of sawflies that includes five known species, of which only two occurs in Brazil. In this work, we present two new species, Plaumanniana sp. nov.1 from northeast and Plaummaniana sp. nov.2 from south of Brazil. We also redescribed P. aemula (Konow, 1899) and P. trigemmis (Konow, 1900) and proposed P. tribrachys (Konow, 1899) nov. comb. Furthermore, we present an overview to the distribution of the genus and a taxonomic key for the Brazilian species.
