The research project aims to analyze the contributions of Dioramas in the production of didactic scenarios on Botany content for high school students. In Biology Teaching, images represent an important element to support the understanding of many contents, such as those in the area of Botany, with the presence of themes that present interpretation challenges due to their specificities, and which often require the support of images for a better understanding of the subjects covered in the classroom. The images used by teachers can be found in textbooks, but they can come from other strategies or didactic resources to enhance the teaching-learning process, such as Dioramas. Dioramas are three-dimensional resources used to portray different environments for exhibition purposes in museums, schools and other spaces that promote information and knowledge. From a qualitative-descriptive approach with analysis of images related to the content of Botany in Natural Sciences Textbooks from Joly's perspective, in addition to the proposition of a Didactic Sequence applied with High School students in a school in the State Network of Pernambuco, which will address themes of Botany and in which the elaboration, analysis and exhibition of Dioramas will occur.
