SUMMARY:

This research is aimed at studying the teaching practices of science teachers in high school at a full time School in Ceará, regarding the use of Digital Information and Communication Technologies (TDIC) in light of the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) and its relationship with digital culture. The general objective is to analyze how digital culture has been integrated into the teaching of sciences in light of the BNCC, through the teaching practices of high school teachers. In the research in question, the first moment of the discussion goes through the educational discourses in society and their influences on teaching practices, reflections on digital culture, the connectivity of society and TDIC in the school setting. Then, we bring the approach of high school in Brazil, the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) and digital culture. This research has a qualitative methodological approach, of a participatory nature, with data collection procedures through handwritten documents and a questionnaire. Data analysis will start from the categories constructed from the data collection. As a partial result, we collected data from handwritten documents, selected and constructed categories based on the studies of such documents and their relationship with the themes under study. For the second part of data collection, we developed a questionnaire based on the premises of teaching practices using ICT under the aegis of the BNCC, from the perspective of a society immersed in digital culture. For this moment, we constructed categories and subcategories based on the skills and competencies of the BNCC, as well as what the BNCC recommends regarding the use of ICT to support data analysis. Data collection through questionnaires will be carried out through an electronic form with teachers in the area of teaching natural sciences and teachers of the digital culture discipline at the Escola de Ensino Médio em Tempo Integral - EEMTI Prof.º José Teles de Carvalho located in the city of Brejo Santo, in the state of Ceará. These questionnaires will be analyzed based on categories previously established in our research.
