SUMMARY:

This study aims to analyze the appropriation of mathematics teachers regarding the use of digital resources for teaching equality relations available on the Physics Education Technology (PhET) platform. We take as reference a model of appropriation of a new resource, organized into three phases: pre-appropriation, original appropriation, and re-appropriation. This model is anchored in the Instrumental Approach, the Didactic Documentary Approach, and Instrumental Orchestration, as well as in professional teaching knowledge. The research was developed in two stages: in the first stage, we carried out an analysis of three interactive simulations present on the PhET platform, namely: Equality Explorer; Equality Explorer: Basic and Equality Explorer: Two Variables. In the second stage, using the methodology of reflective research, we sought to analyze the processes of pre-appropriation and original appropriation of the simulation(s) chosen by teachers working in the 6th and 7th grades of Elementary School in the Municipal Network of Itapissuma - PE. In addition, we sought to identify the differences and similarities in the teachers' appropriation processes, in terms of resource systems, instrumentation and instrumentalization, professional knowledge and instrumental orchestrations planned and effective for the implementation of the resource in the classroom.
