DIGITAL GAMES AND SCIENTIFIC CONCEPTS: THE CONCEPTS OF LIFE, DEATH, ENERGY AND SUBSTANCE IN THE VIEW OF GAMERS IN THE LIGHT OF THE THEORY OF CONCEPTUAL PROFILES

This work aims to analyze the understanding of ways of thinking and ways of talk about the concepts of Life, Death, Energy and Substance in front of a Community of Practice of Video Game Players using as presuppose the discussions of the Theory of Conceptual Profiles. The Theory of Conceptual Profiles establishes that an individual can live simultaneously with more than one meaning for the same concept, this therefore, learning a new meaning, be it more or less significant should not contradict existing preconceptions. At the core of research in Conceptual Profiles, this work brings with it a look at non-formal learning spaces and distinct focus groups. An interview was prepared as an instrument for constructing the data. Narrative with the aim of greater active participation of those interviewed. As future perspective we will carry out the interviews in places of concentration of players (events and championships).
