MEANINGS OF SCIENCE AND ART: THE EXPERIENCE OF STUDENTS AND TEACHERS AS A SITUATED PHENOMENON
Phenomenology. Science and Art. Construction of meanings. Teaching-learning.
This work addresses the relationships that are established between science and art teaching, from the perspective of students enrolled in the Science and Art curricular component of a higher education institution in the state of Pernambuco. We opted for a qualitative research method with a phenomenological matrix, based on the situated phenomenon. This approach aims to capture, through descriptions of lived experiences, the essence of the phenomenon sought. It is in this scenario that this research project is inserted and here we seek to question phenomenologically: what meanings are attributed to the relationship between science and art, based on the experiences of students and teachers who experience the Science and Art curricular component? The search for meanings between Teaching Science and Art led us to the construction of the general objective: to understand the meanings of the relationship between science and art attributed by the subjects who experience the Science and Art curricular component.
