THE USE OF THE DIGITAL PORTFOLIO IN THE MATHEMATICS ASSESSMENT OF NEW HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

The implementation of the new high school in public and private schools in Brazil brought formative and evaluative changes in teaching. Regarding student assessments, each school is responsible for defining the format that it believes is the most appropriate for its educational institution. Thus, this research aims to analyze the process of building digital portfolios as an evaluative procedure for the learning of mathematical content by students of New High School. The research will be developed in a school unit of the Social Service of Industry (SESI) with students of the 1st year of the New High School. As a result of the research, it is expected that we will have an overview of students' perception of the use of portfolios as an assessment procedure in mathematics, as well as aspects of students' self-assessment.
