FROM QUILOMBO TO SCHOOL: an analysis of education in a community in the sertão of Pernambuco
Quilombola Education: Field Education; Public Policies; Right to Education
The present work aims to analyze the adequacy of a quilombola school, in the Sertão of Pernambuco, in relation to the principles and actions of a Quilombola School Education contained in the "National Curriculum Guidelines for Quilombola School Education in Basic Education". To this do so, it is intended to build a work of an applied, exploratory and quali-quantitative nature. Regarding technical procedures, the study aims to be bibliographic, documentary, survey and field, with participant observation (on site) and also to use semi-structured interviews. With this, it raises the hypothesis that, within the normative spectrum of requirements for the implementation of a Quilombola School Education, to which a series of issues immanent to the territory and the community, this school does not fit their part. As the purpose of this analysis, it is intended to bring a thesis with substantial methodological, theoretical and data collection rigors, in addition to a conclusive technical report and a didactic booklet with photographic, imagetic and symbolic content, as final products. The first product to be directed to the Public Power, as a factor of construction of quilombola School Education as a public policy, and the second product to be directed to the community, as an object of appropriation of its identity, culture and territoriality, through the basic educational formation of that collective. Therefore, the study aims to be a construction with academic and social relevance, ratifying the importance of traditional communities for the formation of the social, historical, political and scientific tessitura of the country
