The Covid-19 pandemic forced us to leave our comfort zone and reinvent ourselves, in addition to giving greater visibility to structural processes of inequalities present, above all, in Brazilian society. Identifying programs, projects and actions developed within the scope of public policies, or actions promoted by popular initiatives, allow us to understand the challenges and impacts of this problem, and may reveal aspects linked to improving the quality of life of rural women, or the negligence of the state. regarding this topic. With this, this work has as main objective to identify the existence of public health policies for rural women residing in the Territory of Sertão do Pajeú-PE, within the scope of the federal, state and municipal governments, considering their general demands and the specific care for the health care. The research will be carried out from semi-structured interviews with subjects who live and/or work in the Territory, namely: rural women, leaders of social movements, members of the Municipal Public Management and professionals from Basic Health Units. The scientific result will be the writing of a thesis and other academic texts on the subject of this research, as well as two technical products, a documentary and a booklet, which will contribute to the empowerment of rural women, in terms of belonging, the defense of their rights and the valorization of sustainable health practices existing in the territory.
