EDUCATION AND AGROECOLOGY: Technical-professional training in Agroecology and its interfaces with territorial development
in the Agreste region of PernambucoAgroecological Transition; Territory and Territorialities; Construction of Agroecological Knowledge; Teacher TrainingProfessional training for the social transformation of rural territories has been central to discussions on territorial development, whether in universities, social movements, public authorities or the private sector. Agroecology and the agroecological transition processes have proved to be a viable possibility for the development of rural territories. The training processes developed by different institutions corroborate the importance of professional training for the effectiveness of the agroecological transition in the communities. The present study aims to analyze the importance of the action of teachers, students and graduates of the technicological course in Agroecology of the ONG-SERTA for territorial development, realizing its contribution in the formative process for the agroecological transition in course in the municipality of Bonito, Agreste region of Pernambuco. The methodology is qualitative and carried out from an action research supported by the “Support Pedagogy for Sustainable Development” – PEADS. The study will contribute to the identification of interfaces between the dialogues of knowledge in the interdisciplinary perspective of the researched reality for the agroecological transition in the municipality of Bonito. As a final product, a Training Course for education professionals will be prepared for the implementation of a Reference School in Rural Education and Agroecology in the municipality, making interfaces with the Policy and Municipal Plan of Agroecology and Organic Production in the process of construction and consolidation.
