Study the diversity of components involved in promoting health as a general concept, including humans, animals and the environment. Epidemiologic models, case studies and rationale applied to identify prophylaxis and control measures to minimize disease impacts.
OBJETIVOS: Provide the students the ability to discern the One Health approach as a collaborative, multisector, and trans-disciplinary measure to achieve optimal health outcomes based on the understanding that sharing an environment affects health at the local, regional, national, and global levels.
